As a poet, artist and organizer, Reyes performs internationally and facilitates educational performances and workshops by merging creative expression and critical thought. His mission is to provide a participatory educational environment through poetry and hip-hop to address issues of social justice and cultural identity. 

The grandson of migrant workers and having worked in the fields of Michigan himself he knows all too well the inequalities that exist in the U.S. Combined with community activism and artistic contributions in both Chicago and Detroit his work has added to the multiple layers of Chican@/Latino identity. His work has been featured on HBO, CNN, PBS, The Chicago Tribunes Hoy Noticias, Latin Nation, Chicago Public Radio, National Public Radio, Pacifica, WBAI, and Democracy Now. 

He has performed and keynoted at over 1,500 institutions including: The Million Man March in Washington D.C., The United States Hispanic Leadership Institute, National Council of La Raza Conference, National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, The White Privilege Conference and The Latino Ivy League Conference. He has also facilitated workshops and programing with many esteemed institutions including the Kellogg Foundation (U.S.A.), Mueso De America (Spain), Quilomboarte (Mexico) Aboriginal Pavilion (Canada) Theater Festival of Caguas (Puerto Rico), Al Akhawayn University (Morocco) and the World Festival of Youth and Students (Venezuela) 

As an interdisciplinary artist he has worked with national activist, organizers, educators and artists such as: Dr. Cornel West, Lolita Lebron, Dolores Huerta, Oliver Stone, Minster Louis Farrakhan, and Kanye West, to name a few. 

Currently Reyes is in the production of “Culture Creators” a progressive and radical media company encompassing a vlog, music label, youth artist talent management, film production, and fashion segments that will be produced in both Detroit and Chicago. The Vlog highlights over 100 culture creators ranging from community organizers to musical artists. 

Reyes  is also in development of his first full-length feature film based on his previously produced play Crime Against Humanity and is constantly on tour creating, performing and facilitating.
